Conversations, community, music, learning, and meaningful moments

Hartwell Place hosts educational programs, neighborhood gatherings, support events, music performances, dementia education, caregiver resources, and community conversations both inside our community and throughout Andersonville.

Some events are practical and informative. Others are simply joyful. Together, they help families, caregivers, neighbors, and older adults stay connected, inspired, and supported.

We invite you to explore upcoming events, join us for a gathering, and check back often to see what we’ve got cooking in the neighborhood.

Visit the Memory Café

Once a month, we are proud to partner with Edgewater Village Chicago and Edgewater Library to offer the Memory Café, a comfortable and supportive environment for individuals with memory loss and their caregivers. This approachable social gathering features games, arts, and crafts, music, and helpful guidance for friends, family members, and community allies.
